Asia Sutherland is a native of Durham, North Carolina and a graduate of Howard University. While at Howard, she majored in Communications/TV Production and minored in Spanish, receiving a Bachelors of Arts degree in TV production; with cum laude honors. Currently she serves as the Director of Operations for the innovative Birds Eye Entertainment Inc., where she is responsible for overseeing the company’s day-to-day logistics, project development, and new business submissions.
Previously, Ms. Sutherland has spent her career serving in the capacities of event planning, television production, and non-profit management. She has worked for several dynamic companies including Strategic Experiential Group, Viacom (MTV/MTV2, Vh1, and BET), Time Inc., David Stark Design, Like The River Salon, Harlem Children’s Zone, Hip Hop 4 Life and Teach for America.

Asia contributes to her NYC community in her spare time, by serving as an active member of the Women in Entertainment Empowerment Network (WEEN), on their Special Events & Planning Committee. She also dedicated her spare time to #HashtagLunchbag, a humanity service movement dedicated to bringing awareness to and eliminating hunger in local communities.
